Absolutely loved this shoot I did with Josh Simmons for the January 2019 issue of 225 Magazine. This was all shot in my living room in my tiny apartment! I’m normally hesitant about bringing people into my apartment for magazine related things because I don’t have a fancy studio and I never know if people assume all photographers have a studio. So far, everyone is actually okay with a super D.I.Y., creative… literally-in-the-middle-of-my-living-room type of environment. It was so fun and Josh is so great!
Spiced up a home portrait session with just roll paper on a backdrop stand, fun fabrics (for in front of the lens), daylight, and deciding to use a harsh reflector in place of any external light sources. Polaroids just because why not?! Check out the shots and outtakes below!
