Thanks to my editor Jake Clapp, with The Advocate Baton Rouge, I have a new monthly photo column in print!
If you have ever wondered where exactly Baton Rouge artists are working, how they find the space, what it may look like inside their workshops, and more… this is it! Each month, I’ll take a look at a local artists’ work spaces ranging from painters to craftsmen to sculptors to musicians.
I think Baton Rouge’s creative scene has been steadily growing since I moved here about 5 years ago. I am so interested in seeing the variety of spaces people are creating in and sharing that with you.
If you are a working artist interested in being featured and having me come take a look at your space, shoot me an email.
Read the first one on Freeman Handcrafted’s charming garage-turned-studio here.
